etiquette3In Studio Etiquette Guidelines

  • Please remove your outdoor shoes once you have entered the studio.
  • Please also remove any bulky jewellery for maximum comfort.
  • Please be very mindful of noise inside and outside the yoga practice room. Feel free to quietly chat with friends, teachers and fellow students in the lounge area. Please be reminded that the practice area is a place of quiet and contemplation.
  • Please turn off your cell phones when entering the yoga centre.
  • Please respect your teacher and fellow yogis by being on time. Arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class time. Late comers will not be admitted.
  • Please avoid the use of overly strong perfumes and creams as others may be sensitive to scented products.
  • Please be mindful of what you eat before class. It may be difficult to practice on a full stomach – try not to eat for two hours before each class.
  • Please show respect for your teachers and fellow students at all times.
  • Don’t skip Savasana! This is your final relaxation and is an important part of your yoga practice.
