Mellissa Mizen Blaney
I have been practicing yoga for the past 7 years and more seriously over the past 4 years. As a completive figure skater I was exposed to yoga as a way to stretch and lengthen muscles, however returned to yoga as an adult when I was looking to quiet my mind and build strength. Over the past 4 years my practice has developed into something much deeper then just fitness, focusing on my inner strength and personal confidence. I look forward to seeing you at the studio and sharing in your yoga journey!
Alex is a former Paramedic who came to Yoga City as a way of connecting with the local yogic community and to learn from her peers along the way. Being an eating disorder and codependency survivor, Alex credits Yoga to being an integral component of her own recovery and self-discovery. Her personal practice has evolved into a passion for sharing the true capacity of healing that Yoga has to offer and is excited to complete her 200hr YTT in 2017 to give back to others what Yoga has so freely given to her.
