Karren fell in love with yoga 15 years ago. At first it was just a way to stay flexible and to combat a sedentary job. Karren found yoga not only helped with physical flexibility, it also increased strength and taught her the art of letting go. Karren especially enjoys yoga because it provides a sense of balance in a world that is often chaotic. The practice of mindful breathing and remaining focused also allowed Karren to experience a natural childbirth. After many years of practicing at various yoga studios, Karren made the decision to become certified and has been leading others in their journey of yoga for the last 4 years. “When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be”. Louise began her journey in 2011 while studying biology as an undergrad. Seeking a new path, she changed her field of study in 2012 and realized that this was not the one she was destined to follow. She decided to channel her energy towards her passion for yoga and completed her 200 hr Teacher Training at Yoga City in 2016. For Louise, yoga continues to be the light at the end of a dark tunnel when she is faced with obstacles, and she is a firm believer that yoga changed her life. Her goal in teaching is to help guide others towards discovering a place within to appreciate, accept, and above all else, love themselves for who they are. She strives to inspire others by reminding them that yoga is not only practiced on the mat, but off the mat as well.
